errr Willow is probably actualy right though. worldwide theres probably like a million or two PS3s on shelves. There could be less then 400k. Its unknown. The same could be said about the 360.

The Wii is probably sold out, in 98% of stores worldwide, so can't say its on many shelves. lol

A day in the life of ioi must be a drag sometimes, seriously.  The guy is doing his best to chart/track something that I would have given up on over a year ago.  It's quite a testament to his dedication and discipline that this site is updated every week and is constantly being shifted to new servers to accomodate the hungry masses.  When his numbers are off (or just don't jive with NPD, GFK, Yahoo.com, fanboy's beliefs) out come the pitchforks and burning torches.  Hats off to ioi for having thick skin.

Also...I think it would be beneficial to the site to not allow new posters to create threads until 5-10 posts in.  It could help with a lot of the spamming as well as help the mods find out what kind of poster the TC is without having to read between the lines of their first post/thread. 

We should just tell ppl who want the numbers to be changed to stfu. LOL

there should be a mod who's job is to specifically tell those members to.

 Agreed.  It is pretty ridiculous that so many are willing to fall on their swords for a fellow ps3 fanboy even when they are clearly some little punk just trying to stir the pot and/or somebody who is incredibly ignorant of how the sie actually works.

Isn't it obvious that this article is quoting the number from Sony's financial report stating that 10.5M PS3's had been sold (to retailers) as of Dec 31 2007? Why is there even a discussion about this? Just some new fake troll account to bash our numbers, nothing unusual. ;>
