It doesn't work that way. Higher res textures don't have a significant impact on framerate.

So you're saying that changing textures resolution doesn't have impact on processing time ?

Pretty much. The most important thing with textures is RAM. If you have a lot of it and can fill it quickly, you can have super great textures. Only reason TF would stick with the current texture sizes is if other parts of the game are taking up too much of the RAM's resources. With 5GB, that's very unlikely.

SOOOOOOOOO much truth here, but too many are excited about bad MS news to see the forest for the trees.  EVERYTHING has bad news that can be reported about it.  Everything.

Its a shame no-one credits the haters for how they turned around XB1. They were a bigger influence than 'fans' who pledged to get one regardless of what MS did.
