Yayy, he was awesome to use, specially with his more damage = more power mechanic but I do hope we get more new characters as well

Sakurai's extra comment: Lucario joined the battle for the first time in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which was released six years ago. The production staff of Brawl worked really hard to expand the character roster--without their efforts, Lucario probably never would have joined the battle.

actually mega Lucario for Final smash lol! Also no pokemon from gen 6 is good at representing the gen imo. aka no lucario/zoroark

I would have loved to play as Greninja, but now it's probably not happening. Unless they switch the Pokemon Trainer's lineup from the classic trio to the gen 6 starters.

Huh interesting choice, but Lucario is pretty cool (sorry Mewtwo fans ) and I hope to see Mega Lucario as a final smash so it's all good.

Damn it! I swear if Mewtwo ends up not getting in because of this...seriously, Lucario? And there were so many good X/Y Pokemon too...son of a bitch. First character I'm both surprised and disappointed to see included...of course, if they somehow find room for everyone I DO want back, as well as a few of the new ones I want to see, I won't care, but Lucario was VERY low priority for me. Oh well, like people are saying, Mega Lucario would be neat. But Mewtwo had two Mega forms...so much lost potential...
