Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

One side of me says, "Well, shit."

The other side is cool with it because it gives my time to save some money.

There's still many games that are/should be coming out. Just because there is a two month drought doesn't mean the rest of the year isn't going to be good. *Cough* 3DS *Cough*

Still, this is bad planning. Mario Kart 8 should've been done for April.

Oh god, it should have been a christmas release last year, why don't you delay until holiday 2014 Iwata? It's not like the console will sell all thes months with just DK.

It should have been early April at the latest. I respect Nintendo for not releasing broken and/or unfinished games, too many big devs do, but sometimes they take it way too slowly.

"On my business card I am a corporate president. In my mind I am a game developer. But in my heart I am a gamer." - Satoru Iwata

Meh, Nintendo might go for the holidays again, pegging all their major releases to dates after E3 2014. I wouldn't blame them: while people think releasing games during the "slow" seasons will help drive sales, there's a reason why all retail sales everywhere for any company drop in January-February... If they want to release their big games at times people are more likely to buy them, I can't exactly fault the logic...

'Greatness awaits' should have been Nintendo's slogan...

Son of a bitch. Where's my Nintendo Direct? There better be one in February, and it better announce something, even a minor thing, in either March or April. My hope would be in March, since Watch Dogs will be coming April most likely.
