Today, Sony revealed in a Tweet that its exclusive shooter Killzone: Shadow Fall – available at launch – has sold 2.1 million copies to date. Since all PS4 games are available digitally, this likely puts retail and digital numbers together in one.

Shadow Fall’s numbers are impressive, and indicate a strong attach rate for the game that could be in the range of one game sold for every three or so consoles in the wild.

WOW, massively undertracked here. Amazing sales although I personally was disappointed in the game. Just shows making games at launch does not mean bad sales due to lower install base.

Awesome for Guerilla. I love the KZ IP, but i'm also interested to see what they have in store next.

They are most likely shipped,even with that in account it is probably undertracked by quite a bit.

Did you consider this is shipped and not sold?

Obviously shipped, Sony coming back to the old routine of saying sold=shipped....But even with this, almost 2m sold with digital sales from a console that sold around 4'5m is very impressive and a success.

It is also bundled a lot, and that bundle + the Knack Bundle are the only options currently in Denmark at least

Of course. It's shipped + digital. May slightly need to be adjusted, but there's likely a ton of shelves with the new launch.
