We still have to see how much of a boost Titanfall provides and how long it will last. It is possible that it reaches the goal in June. Besides didn't the Xbox One only launch in like 13 countries? They still need to release the console in other countries!

the thing is, the average has to be like double of what it has right now. since there won't be any reason why the sales will be higher as they are right now in the next weeks (they will be probably even lower), it would mean that titanfall alone would have to sell like 1m+ consoles. 

and the other countries it will launch in are super small or don't buy many xbox consoles. not sure what people expect from markets like denmark, belgium or norway. not even sure if the console will launch there before june.

you would be probably even right saying 5m max.

It's not coming to Scandinavia until June. It has launched in most of its strongest territories.

This isn't a very bold prediction; it seems more or less a given at this point.

I think I am doing the maths correctly. There are about 19 weeks before June comes. So the Xbox One would have to do 150k per week to reach the goal. 19 X 150k = 2.85M. If we add that with the 3.3M... 2.85M+3.33M = 6.15M. It is a possibility!

Well I have to do it if people keep saying that my prediction is a given. I can give you a reason why it can reach the goal and a reason why it won't. My prediction is still the same!

XBO did 82k this week, what makes you think it's going to start doubling those numbers? Titanfall will provide a boost for a few weeks but that's not coming until March.

Titanfall is not the only game coming out for the Xbox One! It's the biggest though. I think it won't make it mind you, that's what my prediction is about! I do have to give some reasons why it can make it because people seem to think it's a given thing.
