Iwata confirmed that part of their strategy going forward with increasing North American sales will be to localize more japaneese games.  He feels that the quirky games usually not released here may find a following by making small changes to fit the market.  With the superb job that NOA does with the current releases this should be good news.

Also, I would like to see Monster Hunter Frontier G come to the west.

Hopefully that means Nintendo will localize Dragon Quest 7, the Dragon Quest Monsters games, and Retro Game Challenge 3DS.

I hope to see the following changes:

-Online multiplayer added to all their local MP games

-A cross platform network ID

-Games linked to an account not to a console

-Increased VC releases with no charge for pad support for current owners.

 I hope this  means we are finally  getting Captain Rainbow!

I really want to see Nintendo push the RPG's and shooters we never get here from third parties. Even if it's only on the e-shop.

Yes something needs to change in NOAu.  There is no excuse not to have the same release schedule as NA.
