Forums - Nintendo - Finally have the money, but the time is rigth?

What i should do?

Wait till you have money for a zelda bundle 23 52.27%

Wait till you have money to a M&L bundle 8 18.18%

Wait till a price cut 10 22.73%

Buy a basic 3 6.82%

Total:44

You could wait for the MK8 bundle that might come out but you could also get the WW bundle before that gets discontinued in the future which will increase the resell value to over the price of the console... For example, The Firm Emblem edition of the 3ds can cost up to $800 now in many places cause it was a limited time thing and etc... Up to you really

Plan on buying one? Wait a little longer; You should wait at least until after the next direct.

Wait for at least MarioKart8 and then buy the WiiU

TBH just go find a used one if you are lucky and the last owner bought some digital games you can downlaod them even tho he "deleted" his account because games are bound to the console not ID.

Bought a White WiiU for 170 bucks in June was preowned but was mint condition.
(black WiiU is nonsense unless you buy everything digitally and prefer black because you can just buy a 32GB flash drive for 12 bucks or so or better a 3TB harddrive for 75bucks)

They already slashed the price by $50 a few months ago. It's certainly possible, especially with the poor sales, that it gets another price cut soon, but I wouldn't count on it. Brazil gets killed on pricing. Would it be cheaper to import a Wii U and games from the United States? Can you find any on sale in Brazil?

These prices are from the imported ones. The official bundle is R$1900(can be found for R$1700 easily if you don't use CC).

These prices are from a forum, not from official shop(have good recommendations tough), so, its areadly the minimum. Really.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Wait for a price cut or sale.

I would wait for the ND which should happen this week. This is the time Nintendo will announce any price cuts. Although not sure how it will impact Brazil prices TBH.

How much is shipping? R1200 + ??

I'd scour the local trading post / facebook groups for a secondhand console, if money is tight.

Whatever you do, don't get a white Wii U. After a while, the analog sticks lose their color and turn yellow the same way the SNES plastic would yellow. This picture is of my gamepad

Well, ignoring the issue of fluctuations in currency values, I'd definitely say wait, unless any of the games released so far qualify as a must buy for you. But, then again, I'm a cheapskate.

That said, if the real is depreciating compared to the dollar quickly, then it might be worth going ahead and getting it now. There are certainly a wide enough variety of games to keep you busy.

When the time is right for you to lose your virginity, you'll know. Don't pay for an "escort" until you're ready.

Wait...This is about the Wii U!? If money is that tight, wait until a big game you want comes out. You waited this long.
