So, after 2 years of saving, i finally have the money to buy a wiiu. But i ask myself if the time is rigth. First, if i buy it now, i will not have money to buy nothing more. No money for a game. No money for a wiimote or a pro controller, so no wii games too. And, i fear a new pricecut coming soon, and i really don't want to regret my decision that soon.

Other thing bugging me is that i have money to buy a basic with 1 game or controller, but i need a litlle more to buy a zelda bundle, the cheaper premium i could find. Will took next to 3 month till a can have some more subtantial money to buy new game(on my birthday), so there is this too.

I have no interest on other consoles, handhelds, or used stuff. Bear in mind too that that i live in Brazil so the price structure and the online retaliers don't match the one from eua(they don't delivery here). Yet, there is no eshop on brazil, so there is this problem too.And the dollar is going up, so the prices can get even higher!

I'd say to wait until the games that you want are out unless you find one for a good price.

Only possible reason to wait is to see what Nintendo announces this Thursday during ND. If there is a price drop, then it might be worth waiting. However, I think that is unlikely.

I would save more. It's not worth it with out any games. You'll feel much better when you finally do get it.

I would recommend waiting till your birthday. It's wholly possible that there might be a price drop or a better bundle in the near future. Also, I'm sure you don't want to have a Wii U gathering dust after you finish whichever game you get. You'll have better options in a few months down and will be able to decide which games you truly want.

Prices in Latin America for videogames is rdiculous. Nowadays it's more of a luxury than a hobby. Anyway the best thing to do is to keep saving and wait for another price cut.

I would wait a little and save up some more. There are a lot of good games worth playing but you shouldn't rush into it. I don't expect a price cut anytime soon, but maybe you'll stumble upon a good deal or bundle closer to your birthday.

P.S. when you do get one, go with the Deluxe model!

They already slashed the price by $50 a few months ago. It's certainly possible, especially with the poor sales, that it gets another price cut soon, but I wouldn't count on it. Brazil gets killed on pricing. Would it be cheaper to import a Wii U and games from the United States? Can you find any on sale in Brazil?
