...i mean, for a guy who can climb buildings why can't he climb a fence?!?   it was a great start to a franchise but infamous 2 just polished the gameplay soo much.  second sons seems to be an even bigger leap forward that i could have ever imagined.   just holy fuck this looks good!

The new Infamous have only better graphics, effects and touchpadgimmick.

Anyway, people are reading into "unique" because that was the gripe you had with it. And I, as well as many others, are confused by the statement that it doesn't look unique because it's basically the only game based on being open world with super powers. It stands alone in that aspect. That makes it "unique"...yet somehow it isn't? LBP is the only game that lets you create your own platforming levels, but if I were to take your line of thinking, that wouldn't be unique either

You realize that Infamous came out before Prototype and was in development before Protoype, right? You realize that the Infamous series has scored and sold better than the Prototype series, right? Technically, Prototype is an Infamous clone, so you can't say you "see a game which looks like Prototype" because Infamous is the standard you judge Prototype against.

It's one thing to have an opinion about something...it's another thing to be flat out wrong. I'm assuming you're referring to the back and forth about Puggsly's comment. Well....he said the game is not unique...even though it's the only game like it. If there's nothing else like a given item, then that item is unique and isn't comparable to some other item. If this was CoD, he'd be right because there's BF. If it was PS All Stars, he'd be right because there's Smash. If it was GT, he'd be right because there's Forza. But there's no game like Infamous, so he is factually wrong saying that it's not unique.
