Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo has to reveal something BIG before Sony does

Jan 30th is also supposed to be Nintendo's financial meeting. I was already expecting a Nintendo Direct I guess on the 28th or 29th to mitigate the horrible news.
Also, if this is event is supposed to be about the Vita, not really expecting the megatons to be dropped. Vita Slim or the Vita TV isn't going to change the pace for the Vita by much in the West and I don't think there is a game to save the Vita in the West

I assure you that a GTA game for the Vita would  really help it.

I don't think this announcement will change much, and not many people are going to sell their Wii Us, not many are going to buy one though, but that Sony announcement won't be a reason for it either.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Nintendo needs only

Zelda - Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch.... Incredable!!!

Why do you think that anything Sony does would affect Nintendo? Or the other way around for that matter.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Nintendo's only job is to salvage the U. 2014 seems good-ish for the most part. 2015 and beyond is a dark abyss.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Are you selling your Wii U because of sony's announcement?

Do you own a Wii U?

LOL

yeah I was about to sell my WiiU before I got to play all the amazing games already announced for this year

If you don't have a WiiU please don't buy one and if you do, sell it!

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

On the nose, pretty much.

The people who have a Wii U now are mostly die-hard Nintendo fans.  They're saddled up for the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Besides, the Vita announcement is going to generate about as much buzz as a Ricky Zahnd and the Blue Jeaners reunion tour.

What the hell could I possbly be bitter about when discussing the VIta?

my point was; gaf and vgc said "this will be huge", people lost their senses when the vitatv thing was announced.  It was never going to be huge and it was silly to say so.

You seem to suffer from GAF resentment.
