Forums - Nintendo - Undertracked! NPD Shows Pokemon XY Has Sold Over 3mil! [X=1.63mil / Y=1.54mil]

Pokemon XY has sold over 3.1mil in the US alone!

Pokemon X= 1.63mil

Pokemon Y= 1.54mil

PokemonXY= 3.17mil

VGC has it at  2,851,170 (for end of 2013)

keep in mind eShop sales aren't impressive as Y version is under 70k and X is about 80k (according to its ranks as of today)

VGC has it at 3.13m. Seems pretty accurate to me.

Ah ok.

I don't know where Nintendo take there numbers when they report on them. If they take NPD numbers and then add digital sales to them then VGC would be well within a respectable accuracy range (like within 5%).

A source would be much appreciated.

"These figures are for the U.S., and they include both physical and digital sales on Nintendo’s eShop online store."

Problem solved.

How do you know how much it has sold digitally? Tbh, 10% from digital doesn't sound too off to me.

Nowhere near 10%.
