See, doing this for the Wii is much more difficult than the other consoles, just because the production time for Wii games is so much shorter than others. I mean, there are games that will come out this summer that no one knows about yet. Predicting nearly two years from now is virtually impossible. Plus, i'm convinced that Nintendo will come out some sort of player's choice program where they list games at 29.99.

i agree with viper 1 with the mid 30's. the wii is a great seller and it's games do great as well we all can agree. but it just doesn't crank out enough hits to do real damage. but as machina said the public will stil buy the games no matter what they are or how good they are.

Well the Wii has 19 million sellers right now. In 3 or 4 weeks RE:UC and Lego Star Wars will both be million sellers. That's 21. In a few months I believe MySims and RRR2 will be million sellers, along with Sonic and the Secret Rings, Pokemon Wii, and Dragon Quest Swords (when it's released in NA/Others) by at least the end of the year. That's 25.

Being a little cheater, I looked through the Wii Games in 2008 thread, and just picked each game I thought would sell at least a million this year, and got around 15 more. Add in 5 unexpected/unannounced games, and that's a total of 45 million sellers at the end of 2008.

It's really hard to tell. I mean we know the obvious ones will make it. But its going to be the unexpected ones. Which as the name suggest hard to figure out which those will be. NOt to mention loads of unannounced games that could make it. Just wait and see I guess. My best guess though is about 40.

40 is a good guess. Slightly more than PS3. I dont think it'll catch the 360.
