Ok dude, I'm not a fanboy of any console, I just want to play games, and why not get the best experience while at it, I'll planning on buying the PS4 when Infamous comes out and buy Watch Dog for Wii U. But the Wii U is losing support all over, no third party support at all, why bother to buy scatter third party games on it, knowing the PS4 and Xbox One will be better versions, a better experience. Besides, me personality, I got nothing against Nintendo games, I'm just slowly bored of most of them, even Mario Kart 8 a little. I'm burn out on 3D World, and I only had it for a few weeks, but I'll never be bored of Smash Bros. Sometimes it's best to branch away from one console and experience with other hardware or games.

So you bought a Wii U to play 3rd party games? And you did this knowing Nintendo's history since the N64?

They were doing really good with the 3DS, I thought that success would continue over to the Wii U.

Great, if true, I will have to buy a PS4 to play it now :/

So, you'll buy a PS4 just for a 3rd party game?  That's new, most people who wait to buy systems wait for 1st party games they know they can't get anywhere else...

Most people buy consoles for third party games. Just have a look at Fifa and COD.(except for nintendo consoles)

I mainly play exclusives, but I would like to try more third party games this year and I can't afford a gaming PC.

I remember reading an article saying wii U version was going to be better than ps360, so if they got that far, why would they cancel it?

I doubt it will get cancelled with all the work that has been done on it. But I woudn't expect support from Ubi on any other big projects in the future.

EA had Crysis 3 running. Canned.

I doubt it. There's only a few months left until the game releases, there's no way they'd cancel it now that they have most of the work done, that would make all their work a complete waste of time and money.

Wouldn't be surprised, but I doubt this is true.

This is actually becoming undignified.

Anonymous source? Can not be trusted

You know who you are quoting right?

Viper1, who apparently is the owner/admin of some gaming forum and a Nintendo fan and VGC user

Oh, well then I can see why people were ignoring him. I do think it's a good sign the port isn't canceled, but it's far from proof.

That's only if you count Japanese games, I can't think of any worthwhile 3rd party 3DS game coming from a western developer. Even in a scenario where the Wii U is preforming decently, the same thing would have happened, since at this point, we know the Wii U won't get any 3rd party support. Watch Dogs is there because there's a 360 and PS3 version (same with other Ubisoft tittle like Assasins Creed), and maybe because Nintendo made a contract with Ubisoft, but otherwise the game would have not seen the light of day on the Wii U.

In any case, if you want to play 3rd party games, Nintendo has never been the way to go (not since the SNES at least). If you want to explore new games, you should buy another console, simple as that. That's the reason why I got a PC (that and because I can pirate games )

Wouldn't be suprised to see it cancelled, wouldn't be that much surprised to see PS360 versions cancelled as well as a matter of fact.

And lose out on 160 million potential customers? I can't see that happening.

The install base is nowhere near 160 million on PS3+360. But there is of course a large portion of gamers still on last generation consoles.
