This. There would be no point when it coms to a rational thinking person. It could only be emotional value that would cause someone to buy a Nintendo console after their exclusives went multiplat.
At skeeuk:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Wii-32GB-Premium-Pack/dp/B008B5YB4W
And you still get the gamepad...
Guess it depends if the games are going to be built from the ground up for the other consoles, or are they going to be lazy ports with certain features removed, much in the same way other companies are doing ports for certain consoles now...
In the absence of evidence to the contrary, always assume you have the upper hand.
NNID = RangerOne
Switch = SW-2393-3671-6907
My interest is in games, not consoles.
Therefore, if I can play Nintendo games on another console (or PC) there would be no reason to buy their console and more reasons to buy the other console (or PC).
Please excuse my bad English.
Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
I would not, there would be no point in buying a Nintendo console if you can get Nintendo games on Steam.
The same goes for Playstation, I wouldn't see the point in buying a Playstation if from now on the Final Fantasy and Metal Gear games are no Steam.
Depends. Lots of times, Nintendo titles have features that have the hardware in mind. If the extra features were kept intact, I guess I'd go with the competition's hardware. I assume their hardware would be more powerful so why not go for the best?
In the rather unlikely event, then yes, I'd probably still buy Nintendo's latest system even if their games were available elsewhere.
They're consistently the smallest, quietest, most reliable consoles, and the only ones that you can count on setting out to provide new interactivity experiences.
And Nintendo's games would probably always be the most optimized on them.
No I would not bother with buying a wiiu if it was on the ps4. There wasn't any answer in the biased poll for me to select.
This is already a thing with the 3DS's existence, and you can see what most people's answer is by looking at the sales of the two systems.
