so you wont be buying a WIi U?

Already have a PS Cuatro but damn I'll love to play Smash

Of course not, as cool as the gamepad is it isnt worth the $400 I payed if I could play all of Nintendo's games on PS3/4

i wipe my ass with $100 bills. So, yes, I would buy it.

Under these circumstances, Nintendo still makes hardware, yet their software isn't exclusive to it?

...That makes no sense. However, I will answer your question.

The Wii U is still the most affordable console. Few of the games available on PS4 or XBO that are not available on Wii U or PC appeal to me. On those two consoles, I would be required to pay a fee to access the online component of Smash Bros and other titles. Off-TV play seems pretty nice, I imagine that I will use it fairly often when I do buy a Wii U.

I can't say for sure, but I believe that my answer is yes, I would still choose the Wii U.

Some of you may not like to hear this, but I also don't trust Sony or Microsoft as hardware manufacturers. The PS4 seems very stable, but the PS3 had those thermal paste problems that didn't become apparent until several years after its release. I'm also wary of the Wii U after hearing of its problems at launch.

Depends on 2nd and 3rd party exclusives. Now you can argue if it'd make sense to see those on a Nintendo system when Nintendo wouldn't make their own games for it.
I got the Wii U for Rayman Legends and I don't want to miss Sonic Lost World, Wonderful 101, Lego City, ... now. Waiting for Bayonetta at the moment.
It's just been one year for the Wii U so far. I got the Wii more than two years after launch and there weren't many exclusives I wanted. But over time there were enough great exclusives for the Wii. So I'm ok with the Wii U ;)

No, because suddenly the resolution and framerate would matter.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I would for one reason above all. The Nintendo Wii U GamePad is greater than PCstation and PCbox

I will buy any piece of hardware Nintendo makes, even if its just for the sake of having it. I enjoy just having all their various hardware. Wish I had kept my N64 and picked up a couple of Virtual Boys when they were on clearance at my local Blockbuster.

I would, Nintendo games are made for Nintendo hardware.

Playing something like Pikmin 3 without the 2nd screen wouldn't work as well, playing 3D World on janky, loose controls like the Dual Shock would feel wrong, having to pay to play Mario Kart online would be weird.

It's kind of like asking, 'if you could put diesel into your petrol engine, would you?'.

A) never gonna happen dude,
B) no, it's just plain wrong
