Ah! But the rules change across borders! White people may hold majorities (and therefore must remain silent about race issues) in Western countries, but worldwide, White people are a minority! That means White people can be overly sensitive about everything too!
I laughed when i first watched it. They tuk the piss out of themselves aswell.

Holy frick. The sheer irony and stupidity in this post is absolutely astounding.
Read your post back to yourself and realize how backwards it sounds.
People are too too hyper sensitive. As a white person I don't feel anything is wrong with this commercial.
If we're supposed to be offended by this as a society, then we really have become a society of overly sensitive, PC obsessed wussies.
Frankly, I'm not sure what's worse; being so thin skinned that this kind of thing actually provokes an emotional response, or using every little dig against any differences between groups of individuals as an opportunity to call "foul" and assume some sort of imagined moral high ground.
Japanese society always feels a bit like it got stuck in the 1950's in many regards, and this is one of them. For the most part there's nothing malicious about it, but their portrayal of non-Japanese people often seems a bit prehistoric to me.
The big nose is funny partly because there are almost only two very distinguishable characteristics about white faces, and one of them is a very narrow nose passage.
The other one is the eyes are closer together than other races.
either way it seems like a horrible choice in an add. i am not offended even if it is sort of racist.

To me it didn't seem like racist, the Japanese just have weird commercials. I don't really think white people are known to have huge noses.
