I don't have a WiiU so can't say.

PS4 I wish I could spend more time on it, being stuck behind a computer all day coding ain't fun :( Lunch breaks on vgchartz makes up for it though.

Surely you knew this before buying the PS4....Why would you still buy one knowing that you had to pay for online if you didn't want to?

PS4. The Wii U Has a whole year ahead of it of games. and Playstation doesn't have mario, zeld, pokemon, metroid, kirby and more. so Wii U will always have my intrest more

I knew it, well, a portion of it anyway. I knew online play was going to be behind a wall but I expected PS Now to be a part of that service. Over all though, it's just not what I expected. The mandatory installs, streaming games to iPhones etc, it just seems like the spirit of PS1/PS2 has been lost on them. What made them so great was the fact that you could buy a box for $299.99, plug it in, and bam...you're good. Now it is something entirely different. 

Maybe that's the future of games. Maybe console gaming is dying and turning into a service war, but that doesn't change the fact that I don't like it. The whole "buy a box at launch and be good for the life cycle of the gen" is all but dead with the exception of Wii-U. And how long will Nintnedo protect that sort of thing with sales the way they are? It's just sad IMO. 

It all comes down to the fact that games are just costing far to much to make, companies don't need to make every game AAA but they are all trying to, spending all this money and not seeing returns. Now everything is f2p P2W.....

I use my Wii U WAY more than I should, I need to give that thing a break.  I clean the Gamepad and Pro controller once a week to keep them from building up crap since I come home and plop down, and turn on the Wii U.  If it's not streaming Hulu+, it's playing a game.  If it's not playing a game, it's surfing Miiverse and making posts/commenting/messaging friends with screenshots.  There's not shortage of activities to do on that thing... Not to mention the AMAZING Art Academy app, and the MIND-BLOWING art that people are capable of drawing and posting in that community!!!

I guess Wii U by default seeing as I don't have a PS4. But I really enjoy my Wii U and I'm sure I wouldn't much care for a PS4, so if I did have both, I believe I would be more bored by my PS4.

It helps if you actually own a game for it.
