Imaginary arguments? You mean like saying there's "a huge amount of better games" when you haven't even played the game in question? Or like pretty much anything you ever post in this forum?

Also yes, if someone else had said that he thinks there are better games out there I wouldn't have said anything, but since you've once again been so extremely arrogant in this thread and in that post, I felt it was justified to call you out. Like I've said, all the flak you get is for a reason.

TLoU was a really really great game. IMO, 2nd best game of 2013 behind Black Flag. It is not even close to the best game of all time though. There were times not very long ago where people didn't "award" games. People just knew they were good, and played games instead of watching award shows, and starting online video game awards ceremony handout pages... Just because DooM, OoT, and Castlevania: SoTN have less "awards" from random people than the Last of Us does not change the fact they are FAR superior video games, whether you take age into account or not.

now on topic. a "game" like tlou becoming the most awarded only proves those awards mean nothing since there's such a huge amount of better games. besides, it's not like even 10% of those awards existed back in the snes/N64 era. if they did, old games would have lots of awards too.
