Nintendo never hurt me. Maybe I dropped a controller and it hit me just perfectly to make me wince in pain or something, but other than that, nope. I just don't like how they handle themselves as a company.
They've never been as consumer friendly as other console developers. Nintendo games that sell even remotely well don't drop in price. Every other console developer drops the price of their games after over a year on the market whether it sells well or not.
I was also disappointed with Nintendo completely dropping Gamecube support and cancelling several games the moment the Wii launched, even going so far as to delay the Gamecube version of Zelda Twilight Princess to attempt to force Nintendo fans to purchase a Wii in order to play it without waiting a month.
I liked Nintendo in the past when they were monopolizing the industry, however I liked them because of the games, not because of the tactic. I didn't even know they used that tactic until after the release of the N64.
I also don't like their recent, build a weaker console with gimmicks and such to cheap out on hardware costs. Sure, graphics aren't everything, but graphical power does advance what can be done in video games. Building a weak system to save money and push out more consoles while keeping the consoles and games high priced, it really shows how cheap and greedy Nintendo is.
