Wow, sounds like my problem. I released an app with the word Memory in also. A european company went through Apple and got my app removed, they didnt want to discuss it, and apple were useless. It was rubbish. There was no way my app could get confused with their name... and you shouldnt be able to trade mark a single word that is not associated with a product. My app had four words in it.. while they had "memory" as a trademark.
Trademark laws are absolutely shocking and Apple do nothing to help app creators when it's not remotely the same :(
