Lol. Why wait for an old game when we will have the better version of Titanfall, called Titanfall 2.

I don't care much about Titanfall, but...

Wrong person you're quoting. I liked DA2 a lot better than Origins :P

If he already has a PS4 then he's looking at spending $620 (console, game, 1-year XBL assuming) just to get Titanfall on X1. If he doesn't have either then he needs to decide if buying a console that is $100 more expensive just so he can buy and play Titanfall is worth it considering that if shooters are his thing then he already has options on the PS4 and future Titanfall games will likely be on the platform based on Respawn's twitter responses. If he really does want it there is a cheaper option in picking up the 360 version.
Titanfall looks bloody epic and fun.
But I'm not waiting for Titanfall to just show up on PS4.
As people have mentioned, Titanfall 1 is lifetime exclusive confirmed by EA but Vince said the future of Titanfall aka sequels doesn't limit them to Xbox platforms. So there's hope for Titanfal 2 to arrive on PS4 in future.
But don't wait for something that aint gonna happen i.e. Titanfall 1 on PS4

It doesn't matter. It's not a taste preference, it's the fact that a sequel can be radically different from its predecessor, almost as if it was a different game with the same brand xD
Never trust a sequel to be better until you physically play it.

.....is the same EA that promised Mass Effect would not be on Playstation. You're right that ME2 wouldn't be multiplatform if not for EA, but it's not like as soon as BioWare was bought, a PS3 version came out instantly. No, they said it's definitely not coming to PS3.....then said it was coming out on PS3 some time down the road.
They even said ME1 wouldn't come to PS3 and look what happened. EA is a company that multiplatforms all their games. When's the last time an EA published game was exclusive (never)? The same promises of exclusivity, that people take as 100% truth, with regard to Titanfall are the same promises of exclusivity of FFXIII from SE. But even that's a bad comparison because FF was always exclusive before. EA doesn't publish exclusives. Just because they're sworn to secrecy (like ME) because MS gave them a few bucks doesn't mean they're gonna change their philosophy at the end of the day. They just need to tell everyone it's exclusive so that it remains the public perception and the overwhelming bulk of the sales are on XBone and XB360, so MS gets their money's worth.
Another example is when Rockstar said that the Episodes of Liberty City (you know....the $50M DLC?) were exclusive to XB360 and again, look what happened. If $50M can't keep content exclusive, what do you think will? How much do you think MS paid EA so that it's "far bigger than the losses they could have for not making it "multiplatform""?
