Ah you could be right, I have both 2+3 on disks so would have had the same reasoning for either game. I think Fable 2 looked nicer tho just the snow effects and other little envoirnment things in that game are very nice especially considering how early in the 360s life it came out.

Fan feedback from the game has completely turned me off of it.

Not really sure what to say to that, like... if you see a copy of it 2nd hand at this stage you'll probably be paying under 5euros or so for it. If you just pick it up as a standalone game, don't consider it is a sequel to the first 2 games it just happens to take place in the same universe and try to put the fan tears out of your mind you'll definately get the 5euros worth out of it. If you're a fan of british comedy the butler in the game is voiced by John Cleese too and he puts a very ... John Cleese'y spin on some of the lines, very enjoyable. (faulty towers, monty pythons flying circus, the holy grail, life of brian etc)

I remember wanting to get it for free but I forgot to. I never gave the series a chance so I might when this bundle comes out.

Its not really about the money for me, its about the time.  I got 30+ games on backlog and don't have time to play games like this, when there's so other games that I want to play more.

If it were retail, I'd go for it. Unless I'm missing something, it's download only. I'm just gonna buy the Anniversary disc. Already got the other two and probably won't ever play them again, anyway.

Yep, 'twas Fable 3.

I *really* wish Fable Anniversary and Fable 2 would arrive on PC, but I doubt that will ever happen, I'll still pick Anniversary up to complete my 360 collection no doubt.

Fable 2 and 3 still look great though, even today, artistically anyway, hopefully Anniversary lives up to the same benchmark, it's using the Unreal engine after all...

For what its worth, Fable: The Journey looks fantastic and its using the Unreal engine.

The original Fable was smaller scale than its successors, so i'm anticipating some quality visuals.
