My guess is it stays with MS (comments like Spencer's are a hint). Spencer probably has some inside knowledge and I doubt he'd be making such comments if he knew it'd gotten away to Sony.
But I cant see it coming in 2014 because MS will make a big push for Halo 5 and they only push one big game per holiday in any genre.
So basically we'd see it in 2015 imo. Disappointing and too far away imo.
I doubt PCF makes it, being Judgement sold poorly, and I dont know what the majority of Epic would be working on then.
Reboot, depending how you define it, could be probable.

Unfortunately they wont be the best on this, because by nature UE is a multiplatform engine...
Still, they pushed the 360 pretty decently. Just not to sky high levels like Halo 4.

I agree with you. Halo 4 was one of the best looking titles last gen period. But GeoW 3 wasnt that far behind. I didnt play it that long ago befoore The One came out and it still managed to impress massively. Its one of my top looking games of last gen.

I'm not sure. Of course phil spencer wants it to stay exclusive. I think that games being available on every console is better for the consumer though.

I really like Gear of War and it was one of my favourite co-op franchises last gen but as long as it wouldn't go exclusive to Ouya or something I wouldn't care if it would be only on Xbox or also on other platforms.
The money for that and other exclusivity deals like for CoD should be rather spend for more internal teams in their studios to make more games and if it would be only smaller teams for more "Arcade" games. Or give other studios all the money (like with Killer Instinct) to make more games you don't have the ressources but ideas for. If we would see more like with Killer instinct it would be awesome, if we just see that a game which would come to the platform even without money will get a funding I'm not sure why I should be happy about that.
The Gears series is finished.
