Forums - Nintendo - About X for Wii U, I was just thinking.

Whether Monolith will push the hardware or not isn't relevant though, is it? They just have to make sure that the end product isn't inferior to what they've shown so far.

That's pretty much what I said.  That the visual quality may not be as good as what the prerelease video has shown.

Gameplay may be good, overall game may be good, but that's not here or there in this discussion.  The original post is only about the visuals.  This game is the most commonly mentioned game mentioned by a Nintendo fan when visuals are brought up for the Wii U.

hmm, the graphics already looked great, it may even look better by release lol

The game doesn't even look all that visually impressive. On a technical scale it's impressive because of the size of the world and everything, but we won't really know much about the technical side until the game releases and we can nail down its framerate, loading times, and so on.

The very first time we saw the game, it had some obvious early-development rough edges. The game will certainly look better than that when it actually releases, more than a year and a half after that first look.

i spect the same.

from Nintendoes history we know that they don't show you better looking games than they release so really they aren't to be compared to other companies since they don't hype you up until release so that you buy and then find out that it does not look as good as they showed you.

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Final product should look the same just like every other Nintendo game I've seen before n after release.

Well I was sold by their trailer. Hope we can get some fresh informations on the next nintendo direct ( maybe end of jan?), or at least a gamepaly video on E3

Most antecipated games: Mario Kart 8 and Warlords of Draenor.

What about Mario 3D world? That game didn't look overly appealing in its first trailer, then ended up looking amazing.

Why should people lower their spectations?

''who said that the most important aspect in a videogame are its graphics? better yet WHO SAID that the most important aspect in an RPG are its graphics?... world is upside down...''

No offense, but this is Nintendo we're talking about. They aren't like other companies. If they have an ugly game, they will gladly and gleefully show you that ugly game because you'll end up loving it anyway. This is the company that actually still proudly shows gameplay in their reveal trailers. Nintendo is shit at business, not at making games. What you see has always been what you get.

I'd love to see one case where Nintendo has false advertised the visual quality of any of their game before release.
Just one.
Only one.
One, PLEASE.
