You were right all along about 360 (and PS3) cratering kowen. I wouldn't have believed it until I saw the figures for the holiday myself.
Shame really, I feel there is more MS could have done. But at this point install base is nothing but bragging rights.

Still stand by PS3 and 360 being much closer than we show. Wish Sony would give an updated LTD.

It's funny, PS3 trailed most of the gen, but they were open about sales. But when it got within spitting distince then they decide to obscure things? I think, they saw Nintendo do it briefly and though "Oh shit, we can do that?!"
But yeah, both 80m shipped, MS announced it 3 weeks before PS3.

Ah k, thought it was like when google bought motorola which now sits as a separate division. Thanks for clarifying, record profit is likely then, unless the xb1 launch has cost them more than I think it has.

Really only interested in X1 shipment numbers as they might show us if those 3mil sold through numbers given by MS were right (I suspect they are but alot of people are still doubting them), the rest will be business as usual: huge profits...
How great would it be if they started reporting software numbers, now it's on its own apart from Xbox there is a chance.
