Honestly I would have given XBO system software and that's it. PS4 appeals to me more in every other aspect. Preferring one console over another doesn't mean you're a fanboy. It just means you have an opinion.

I am interested in knowing the quality of PS4's online service compared to Xbox One... I'm not talking features or games... but pure gameplay online... Because the 360 had quite a large advantage in that regard last gen.

It works fine for me. Battlefield 4 is laggy as hell but that's more of an issue with the game itself. It's having problems on every platform.

People said the same thing about the 360 in 2007. Seriously has anyone considered that there are more Sony "Fans" because it is easier to be one right now?
Interestingly enough, the percentage split between the PS4 and the Xbox One in the IGN poll is approximately the same as the actual market share of both consoles.

They didn't get the same ratio in every category, so I don't think you can say votes were totally aligned with people's favourite system.
Like not everyone who thought PS4 had the best hardware, thought they have the best games & online. Obviously some people voted across party lines.
