I always wondered about the "good" vgchartz X1 numbers of Germany.

I always wondered about the "good" vgchartz X1 numbers of Germany.
They sold well on their first week, but they're collecting dust since then in stores.

Since these numbers are from the end of December, PS4 numbers aren`t very different, but XB1 really are.
If anything, i would assume PS4 would be more off as it would be more difficult to get its numbers, given the demand.

not so good news if true

I think VGC have Xbox One slightly overtracked across Europe except UK. Despite UK, PS4 probably (and basically because is already being sold in more countries) is outselling Xbox One around 2'5-3:1 in all Europe.
If Xbox One didn't sell a lot more units than PS4 in USA in December i will start thinking the 3 mill figure of Microsoft is a complete BS from Microsoft....
xbox one is overtracked by 50K and PS4 is spot on with VGC having it at 143K.
well thats a 2.5:1 ratio for PS4, not good for xb1

Well... PS360 overtracked, like some people were saying all along (500k for PS3, 700k for Xbox 360).

Exactly, and this will only detoriate for XB1 for various reasons.
- The early adopters don't see the whole picture (who is buying what) and they mostly go with your PERSONAL preferences.
- The early adopters are usually not price sensitive so the price differential doesn't mean much to them.
- The supplies issues affect consoles sales as well, at least in early periods.
- Once the dust settles down, the supply issues are ironed put, people see what others tend to prefer, then the SOCIAL preferences come into play, also called "herding" (you may swithc to a PS4 even if you wanted an XB1 since everybody else is buying a PS4). Also the new comers are usually more price sensitive, whow will favor PS4 a lot more.
