I played it a few months ago for the first time and didn't have any problem with it. Sounds to me like you just don't have the patience for it anymore.

The first half is fantastic and it was the only half I played when I first played it. The frustration does get too much towards the end, but I enjoyed it enough to platinum it twice on PS3 and Vita

To me, it's certainly far from a turd

don't have PS3 and will probably skip it if I get The last guardian on PS4 then I can get Ico there as well

Noooo... I didn't really have many problems with Yorda. She didn't respond a couple times throughout several playthroughs, but that's about it. If anything is frustrating it's the combat, but even that's fine. The game is still brilliant to this day.

I loved Ico... I didn't remember nothing frustrating when I played it.

there was 3 or 4 areas that frustated me a lot. But it not compromised the game experience.

That game is a masterpiece, I picket it up, played it and finished it one run, checked the achievements and finished it again with all achievements...  And that in a timespan of like 4*5 hours..Good time.

Ico I only picked up because of the book:



I really did not like the game that much, the pace was to slow and cheap deaths in the middle of a puzzle were annoying when you had to do them from the start.  Shad of the Colossus was great this one not so much.   Read the book it is better than the game.

ICO was way better than SoC for me.

I enjoyed Ico more as well. It's rare to see someone else who thinks similarly, but I still loved SotC. Both are excellent games.

Ico? Frustrating? No way. Ico is a masterpiece, a game beautifully crafted, one of those games that turn the experience into an emotional journey.

I could name endeless games that are more frustrating than it.
