I played the game like 4 years back. Beat it in 4.5 hours, Yorda never caused me any trouble. The game was one long Zelda Dungeon but with easier enemies and puzzles. Awesome art direction though.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Zelda II was pretty damn frustrating. Some of the cheapest deaths you'll ever encounter in a video game. Ugh.

I've never even finished Ninja Gaiden before, so that one is also really bad.

Haven't played Ico myself.

In recent history, any game that had an unpatched glitch that made me have to replay something repeatedly before realizing it was even a glitch (Tomb Raider, Brothers; A Tale of Two Sons, The Walking Dead: 400 Days). Games of today aren't really that tough.

Nintendo Ninja Gaiden.  Not the recent ones...though the first one was kinda tough!

I didn't find Ico frustrating at all, really. I actually found escorting Yorda around and protecting her from evil to be one of the more emotionally powerful and interesting features of the game.

Really, if you removed the "escort mission" from the game it would lose its identity. The relationship between Ico and Yorda IS the game.

I don't think it was frustrating at all. Ico is a pretty good game there and now. SotC, on the other hand, with its poor framerate and the protagonist stumbling around like an idiot, was quite frustrating here and there.

It's not the most frustrating game I've ever played. I wonder if that I've never played the game has some impact on this.

Got 'em.  Enjoyed em-- Got 1 on Vita, 2 on 360, and 3 on Wii U. Good series.

If you have PS+ Ico is a free download. At least it used to be if they didn't remove it.
