Jak and Daxter was always terrible, I only played the Vita version but can tell even back when released on PS2 that game was crap, Mario and Banjo did 3D platforming far better a generation before hand.  I'm amazed Naughty Dog put out such a turd.

The first half is fantastic and it was the only half I played when I first played it. The frustration does get too much towards the end, but I enjoyed it enough to platinum it twice on PS3 and Vita

To me, it's certainly far from a turd
