Yeah, I'm not really sure I quite understand the question. I guess the answer is no.
If I was from a different background then I wouldn't really be me and I don't have any interest in being someone else. For a day or a week sure, but not permanently.
Also experiencing another culture from the outside is sometimes the best way, you tend to get exposed to the best part of the culture and sometimes shielded from the worst. I loved living in China as a foreigner but I would have no interest in being a Chinese person living in China.

But then you probably wouldn't have joined VGChartz. Is being japenese more important than friendship and being known an recognized by random mostly anonymous people on the internet browsing for consoles and videogames' sales? Huh?! IS IT?!

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
