Well you could always play another game offline on Steam that lets you play offline, play a game on your preferred console(s), or fap to porn :O.

Back up

Did Steam's "offline mode" work during this. That is the most frustrating thing about it for me. They have an offline mode, but it just seems to be awfully executed like many things that Valve do. With their structure, they find an idea interesting and then get bored of it without ever finishing it
