Did Steam's "offline mode" work during this. That is the most frustrating thing about it for me. They have an offline mode, but it just seems to be awfully executed like many things that Valve do. With their structure, they find an idea interesting and then get bored of it without ever finishing it

Did they break it again? They just fixed it mid last year....

Well did it work this time? I've never had it work for me, but maybe that's just me

Disconnect your modem and try it, should just boot into offline mode.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

So this is what they call a steamy fap!

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Is this an USA thing, it works fine for me

Well normal mode is working fine now...

But I think there are ways of getting it to work, I just don't trust it in the slightest. Of course, beyond Steam's control, some games do require you to be online to start anyway
