Forums - Nintendo - Project C.A.R.S. WiiU first screenshot Leaked!

Will pick it up when it comes out. Though, I'm not taking this picture as the overall quality of the game or how it looks.

Hopefully it comes out this year!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Around the Network

I've never used analog shoulder buttons or sticks when digital buttons or d-pad were a choice for racing sims, and I play with all assists disabled in most of them, so not an issue for me.

But for those who want analog control for gas, I suppose you can map it to the right analog stick and use x for braking.

I'm not into realistic car games so I won't be getting this game

I don't get why Nintendo chose not to go with analogue shoulder buttons. anyone know why?

Probably they went for the cheaper option.

Yeah, I'm talking about the original one, not the update.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classic_Controller

The Classic Controller is plugged into the Wii Remote in order to be used. It features two analog sticks, a D-pad, face buttons labeled "a", "b", "x" and "y", similar to that of a standard SNES controller. Analog shoulder buttons labeled "L" and "R", and two digital "Z" buttons (labeled "ZL" and "ZR") are located more closely to the center axis on their respective sides. It also has a set of "–", "Home" and "+" buttons like those on the Wii Remote, with the "–" and "+" buttons additionally labeled "Select" and "Start", respectively. The body of the Classic Controller measures 6.57 cm (2.59 in) tall, 13.57 cm (5.34 in) wide, and 2.6 cm (1.0 in) thick.

Currently thinking on buying one. They could become priceless in the future :P

I have the Pro version:

And going back to use buttons would be a step back after getting used to playing reacing games with triggers :-/.

Analog buttons ;)

Both controllers have different uses. The classic controller form factor is more nostalgic of the SNES intended for the VC, while the Pro went for a dual analog setup for MH.

Nintendo could release a Wii CCPro+ with analog triggers, but given they decided against it for the WiiU main controllers, I wouldn't get my hopes up for that.

I have no clue why they removed it. I think people complained about the squishy buttons on the original CC.

The main complains about the Classic Controller was that is was too small and didn't have enough grip, as far as I know, not the buttons.
