I can see what the OP is saying. Remove the story from TLOU and what do you get? A pretty good survival game. Remove the story from SM3DW/LoZ:LBW/GTAV and what do you get? An amazing game that is in the top of its class. BUT, TLOU did have a story and (apparently) it was pretty damn good so saying it didn't deserve GotY seems silly to me.
Whether you like it or not, story/cinematics are an important piece of many games and that cannot be discredited just because you prefer gameplay. While I have not played all of the GotY candidates, I doubt TLOU would be my personal game of the year, but it still deserves the recognition it received.
I got a lot of flak last year for saying that Journey didn't deserve game of the year but I think I can agree with it this year.

I made a post here and detailed my personal issues with the game and explained them. As has virtually everyone else. Again, don't ask me to explain why you ignore them.

If you don't want me to reply to you then maybe stop quoting me and continuing the conversation? It's not rocket science.

Actually I am just going to laugh at the adorable post you made. Spent days on the games MP, played the game more than any game on a Microsoft console this year. But if instead of accepting a differing opinion you want to explain it all away on some petty console warrior stuff, be my guest. As I said, it's adorable.

Exactly how I expected you to reply. You don't disappoint.

I'm hoping to read objective comments from you about Titanfall when it finally comes out. I'm hoping you'll focus on what you don't like about it, like you do with anything Sony. But, as with most XB exclusives, you won't. You won't approach it the way you approach a Sony game, and you won't be able to be objective about it. Heck, you're calling it the GOTG before you even played it. xD
