Its going to struggle against the 3DS and PS4 this year , wonder if Nintendo have a plan.

There is literally no chance in hell (que McMahon theme music) that Nintendo sells LESS than 4 million units, more likely 5-6 million at least, in 2014. Why? Because MK8 and the superior Smash Bros. game all but guarantee that. Games like X and Bayonetta 2 certainly help. And I still think the new Zelda has a chance to release by Dec. 2014.

Either way, there are also other games Nintendo will obviously announce that will release in 2014 that we don't yet know about, and Wii U is set up to have a pretty strong year, REGARDLESS of all the variables you tried to bring up. Cheers.

It would do well to hit the smae figure as it did this years, thus 2 years and not even 10 m. That overall is poor as you rightly point out, it has a lot to face against now.
