Bigger user base = more sales.

Yeap... inFAMOUS have more change to sold more than Titanfall.

Yeah because that is exactly how it works.

That's not how it works but he isn't totally wrong. Lets say that by the time both games drop the PS4 has sold....6 million consoles and the Xbox One has sold 4 million consoles. That means that TF has 2 million less people to sell to. It can certainly be overcome but it will certainly effect sales.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I actually believe Titanfall will accelerate on X1 now that we get closer to release, so much so that it will run from Infamous in preorders.

Wait let me hit this...it has to compete with COD Ghosts and BF4? Which has currently oversaturated the FPS market currently on XB1. And compete with the almighty PS4 @ 399.99.......nah.

Idk if you noticed or not, but COD Ghosts and BF4 are not being praised by anyone. Actually they're being called the worst of each franchise.

Infamous SS will only outsell Titanfall in EU as it is Sonyland.

Meanwhile in the US FPS tend to sell a lot better, so Titanfall will dominate there.

Read what he wrote.

He said a bigger user base equals more sales. That is not true at all. If that was the case the Wii would be the lead platform for COD.

What I'm saying is that he's wrong to suggest that install base = sales on a 1-1 scale. But it is one of the factors that effects sales. especially if you're looking at fairly small install basses.

Oh so that must mean that the Wii U version of 8th gen multiplats should be selling more right?

Infamous can barely break 2 million copys and it has only sold 4 million as a total franchise.. I predict Titanfall to sell 4 - 6 million with just its first game. Your comparing a game to the best showed game at E3? Regardless on which one sells more, Sales don't determine quality (eg Minecraft/Justin Bieber).

It's a prediction not a comparison.

And im predicting by the games history.

Really depends on Europe, in the US I definitely see Titanfall selling more, at least in the short term, Europe is another story since the difference in installbase is way more significant here. The first two Infamous games didn't do amazing in Europe but with this being the biggest PS4 exclusive for a long time I can see it doing alot better than its predecessors.
