Trusted Senior Research Analyst, David Gibson, has stated that the 3DS and Wii are driving a significant portion of Nintendo’s gross profits. Gibson also stated that the Wii U missing its sales goal is not that big of a deal when it comes to profits.

Nintendo – In 3Q we estimate 3DS/Wii is driving 75% of gross profit, so WiiU miss isn’t as big a drag as some expect.Forex huge benefit too.
