besides, this is Off Topic, you've either been asleep or noones informed you on recent spam fest on your site.

You listed your e-mail address, you made enemies. The location isn't ioi's fault. He's not required to have IP tracking tools to keep track of your personal enemies. Again, it sucks it's happening, but that's the nature of the internet and it's not ioi's responsibility to babysit everyone on the site.

Do you use the same name on a lot of sites? It could be someone from VGC, but IIRC you've also mentioned a few people you've got trouble with outside the internets.

I'd advise you to stay the heck away from any suspicious emails, and make sure your computer is otherwise secured.

OMFG. AoA... Setup a mail client to download your e-mails to whatever client you get, say thunderbird. Download the e-mails. Find wherever the option is to view the mail source. This has HEADER data, mainly WHAT IP sent you the e-mails. Simple solution. Then report him to his ISP with his IP address.

I as well am confused as to how this is a VGChartz, past the fact that the user was from VGChartz. I don't see how you expect ioi or the site to prevent you from being harassed by someone who dislikes you. I seriously doubt someone who spams like that is smart enough to "hack" anything, much less your email account.

It's more than likely someone from this site as he tried spamming me with emails too, though I don't use hotmail or the likes so he couldn't request a password change and could only spam me with emails.

yeah, you should get some legal people involved in that. seriously, that guy needs to get some policemen at his door.

What on earth has been up with this site today? I've had a ton of spam on my wall and I've only been able to read about 3 threads as I keep getting sql errors. A few times it even took me to the domain login to update the site. Bizarre.

And it all comes after these ridiculous pop-up ads have been introduced. The smiley and you've won an Audi ads are bad enough if VG Chartz wants a good rep but pop-up ads for poker sites are way too far. 

Yeah, he definitely didn't hack anything. Windows Live just has a really dumb password reset system that lets you request it with nothing but the name of the account. However, there is a reason that you have to verify it in your email first. Yes, he's harassing you. Yes, you should report his IP to his ISP, but no, this isn't a site issue.

Also, if anyone gets spam on their profile comments let me know by private message. I'll delete them, and ban the spammer.
