the more and more I see the way some sony fans act on here over trivial matters based on rumors the less I want the PS4 as my next console first between the two. Grow up guys.

I don't think you get that when MS announce these figures, it's always about 2 weeks after the quarter ends and they've shipped additional units since. It isn't rocket science ethomaz.



WTF? CES happened in the fist week of January and they said "over 66m sold to consumers"... the financial results is for 31 Dec and show 65.9 shipped.

Even if you account for the one week difference you need to remember it is shipped vs. sales... the real sales for CES was close to 65 million than 66 million. You can't deny this lie... nobody is so blinded

Wouldn't be surprised if they rounded them up a bit. It's an estimate and it's not like we'll ever find out. MS are not the only ones who do this though.

Anyway, shipments is what matters most. We won't start to have a clearer picture until we get numbers for shipments up to March.

And the biggest affair here isn't selling 2.8 or 3.1 is more about semantic... If they just said "sold around 3M" or "sold 3M" people would accept the rounding... but when you sell less than 3M and round to "more than 3M" things get funny.

Now if the rumour is real or not is anyone guess.

It seems that we think alike.The absolute ridiculousness and trolling of some of the Sony fans on this site really throws you off on wanting to support the PS brand (bought a PS4 regardless but almost switched to Xbone).  

The funny part about it is when there is a negative Nintendo/M$ thread, they swarm to it like flies on shit, yet, when you point out a Sony failure, it's either filled with excuses or they're nowhere to be found.
