Just because he tells you it's a source that has never been wrong doesn't mean he's telling the truth, he's been trolling for years. Why is everything MS do/say questionable these days to the point where some guy on a forum is auto believed?
Who was it who peddled the yield issues??

To some people, a former troll may be more believable than Microsoft. Microsoft haven't been truthful and trustworthy recently.

Haven't been truthful and trustorthy about what? Just because they had a vision and a certain strategy that people didn't agree with doesn't mean they are all of a sudden these ultimate liars who are looking to burn the public at every turn.
Then they changed all their new policies because people were not buying in. Not because they are all of a sudden not trustworthy. If they are faking numbers they will be a much bigger shit storm than a few idiots on a forum trying to convince each other what is right or wrong here.
Which to me means they are not lying.
I am still trying to figure out why the admins on this site are allowing these type of thread titles and threds from a second hand source that has been iffy over the past few months.
