Yes, 100% Serious with the mouse.  Espically when older people start using it for the first time. You move it left and right, why not up and down?

Xbox One is an amazing system that so far has the best games and the best games coming. People have made such a big deal about exclusives and M$ has listened. Be careful what you ask for people.

Nice to hear everyone is thrilled with their xbox ones! I can see it being a fantastic console with a bright future. But I do have concerns like the quality of the system itself, I would hate to get one and it pull a launch 360 and die as in RROD but the xbox one version. I think i will wait about 3 months to get one. Dont think I could wait longer its just really cool.

I am sure ps4 is outstanding, and aware of what it offers but to my understanding those multimedia features are better on the xbox one with kinect 2.0. I want kinect, I am sure microsoft will come out with casual fun games for social events that would be fun using kinect where as sony lacks local multiplayer except for LBP. Plus with Playstation Now I can stream playstation games to my vita that will be really cool.

so to awnser your question.. ps4 does all that, to me i feel xbox1 does them better just IMO. If i wanted to hardcore game i will use my gaming pc.

The pros:

- Great games for a launch and great games already announced.
- controller is close to perfect.
- The OS works just fine.
- Kinect 2.0 works just fine.
- It is not as gigantic as you would have thought. I never cared about this one, but the internet made me believe it was soooo huge. It is not. Way smaller than my receiver for example.
- It is sooooo quiet.
- I still have the feeling I haven't even used all of the console and still learn new things about it.

The cons:

- Day One update and game installs for launch-games take their time. Basically every launch game needs a day one patch, so before you start playing, you need to download 500MB day one update and a 400 MB patch for DR3 for example and then the installation starts. So it is not like, unpack it, plug it in and go for it. But after you did this, you are ready to go.

So pretty much there aren't any flaws for the system?

well I haven't experienced any except for the day one downloads. And the progress bar for the download status could be bigger. But yeah, that is it.

Sorry, camera isn't needed for voice recognition simply plugging the included mono headset in to the controller and using its mic is enough.

As for playing while downloading he means playing the game that is downloading, not playing games while other games download, and this feature works significantly better for the ps4, it took ages to get those up and running, sitting through a long ass install, just because it would load up the menus but refuse access to the game doesn't mean its playable, conversely I was up and running with shadow fall within a minute, while the install was still in progress.

Your understanding is wrong. In fact there are things like backwards compatibility and others that ps4 does better..x1 does not. You are simply really misinformed. If you want a media box get a real one like roku, it is way better then x, so your argument makes zero sense. In fact many of those features like playing while downloading streaming are vastly better on ps3, research is your freiend.

Fact is ps4 does everything x1 can and its game functions are better.

Cant play sonys first party or consol exclusives omn PC either.

Sony lacks multiplayer?>> What are you still in 2006?? Almost all sonys big games have MP, including last of us, (MP is outstanding)  Uncharted, God of war, Killzone, etc... MP is fantastic. Please ecplain how Sony lacks MP? Sounds like you have been listening too too many people on xboxforums.

I am sure sony will come out with........that's not even relevant..Sony has a history of putting out game after game exclusively more then MS.
