Revive doesnt mean Wii level sales. At this point pushing sales to GC/N64 levels would be considered reviving.

Technically I would say Mario did move systems, the holidays would likely have been much worse without him but I get what u mean. Donkey Kong will cause a nice bumb for a few weeks but def not gonna push sales through the roof

The WiiU only went up about 30k the week Mario released. It did sell higher in the coming weeks but that can be attributed to Black Friday and a holiday boost. I figured a 3D Mario would move a lot more consoles than it did.

Alls I'm saying is if NSMBU + Luigi U + 3D world + Mario olympic games + Game & wario + a price cut didn't persuade mario fans to buy a Wii U idk how many consoles another mario kart can sell. Maybe just 100k-200k

true..for a short period of time. Its far enough behind the gamecube though that it is just playing catch up. For the Wii U to outsell gamecube it has to stay on the market a lot longer which I'm not sure will happen. People are forgetting the PS4 isn't in Japan yet either. When PS4 is released in Japan I expect it to eat away at Wii U sales

I doubt the PS4 will be big in Japan either, console gaming is dying over there and the lineup for PS4 isn't too special at the moment. The WiiU is about to have a big drop now that the holidays are over, but it shouldn't go back to the 3k weekly sales it was doing in 2013.

How much do u think it will ship this quarter? And why?

this quarter? around 2M, maybe more if mario kart releases in late march. beacuse this january seems to have better momentum than the last one. wii fit may help too but it's mostly because of the spyke donkey kong will cause.

2m this Q? LOL you realise it is barely going to ship 2m over the holiday Q right? And what momentum? All we have for 2014 is Japan sales, and they're down 20k YOY.
