Well if we start getting 720p games it'll be funny, it's been a major focus for people who say the Wii won't last past blah blah date. People will upgrade to HD consoles ETC. well if the Wii has a few HD games, what will these people say? "The HD games on the Wii are giving people a taste of what to expect from every game and these Wii owners will realize that they can't live without HD now, so they will buy an HD console and dump the Wii".

LOL we need a new bingo board if there are 720p Wii games coming out.

Or they will say that is nothing compared to 1080p.

It brings up too many questions that I don't think will get answered any time soon.

 

Maybe a wii update but I see that as a problem for people who don't have their wii connected online. Maybe the disc comes with the update on it and you just install the update and play. I think nintendo should make update discs for people who don't have broadband or even a wireless router/wii lan cable.


Nintendo games come with updates on the disc, so yes, they do that already.

I forgot to mention. The original xbox did some games in 720p so why can't the more powerful wii.

The 720p feature would be good for me(I hate playing my wii in HD), but I dont think its possible, the wii only supports 480p as its max resolution.

I don't see what's so special about a game supporting a 720p resolution, as various games on the Xbox featured this.

I understand the Xbox had 720p games...very few...but I'm just saying the Wii has not shown that support. It would have to be all ingame or something.
