You don't need to align release, it was 1 week earlier for US for Sony and 1 week later for Sony in Europe, so effectively the same.

Sony sold 4.2
MS sold 3.0

And no it's not because like madword said. It released in NA one week before X1's WW and one week after in EU/Asia/Middle East.

*edit* technically 3 weeks after for Asia and others, but you get the point. 

Even if PS4 didn't exist, Xbox One isn't going to sell a million units next week. Acknowledge the fact that it was a week later, but it's still selling slower.

He is just trying to make himself feel better.

Using Europe 1 week later to say it counter weight US 1 week before is unnaceptable because Sony launched in 40 more countries than MS at this moment, so it clearly shows that Alignment using that wouldn't work.

Or we can discount the 1M difference because of the huge amount of consoles still on the box sold on ebay and craiglist... your choice.
