Price drop on the Xbox One?
Microsoft will not react to this PS4 sold console announcement. They would only react if the Xbone stopped selling. At $500 a pop and 3 million in six weeks, they have to be happy. It proves the price point was correct. Not only that, they're ensuring those consoles are placed in the living with the TV integration instead of in a teenagers bedroom with ... well, other stuff.

The reason why PS4 is ONLY at 4.2 M is because it's severely supply constraint at the moment. Once that's over, the gap will widen even more.

People need to stop using this as an excuse, Xbox One is available in countries that make up at least 80-90% of Xbox 360 sales. USA+Canada+Mexico+UK+France+Germany account for 77% of 360 sales, when u add up Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Ireland, Brazil, Italy (other counries One is available in) then u can safely assume that brings the total up to 80-90%. Based off that we can assume One would be about 3.5m if released in all territories.
Another thing to take into account is PS4 has yet to release in Japan, which has 10-20% of PS1/PS2/PS3 sales. Its safe to assume it will do the same for PS4 which could push sales up to about 5m.

X1 fans think that x1 will magically sell 1+ million if it was released in other territories lmao. Microsoft released the x1 in its strongest territories, so please fanboys stop the excuses, we all know the xbox does not sell well outside of the U.S and U.K as of last gen.

They need to keep the hope alive some way. I personally don't care to much about sales but it's fun to talk about at work when I have time to waste. I'll be getting an X1 soon just because I can but it's fun to watch the nonsense people come up with to justify their purchase. The whole resolution one is really the best thing ever. I work in IT and most of my coworkers are PC gamers they honestly couldn't believe that people thought 720p and 1080p looked the same. I had to get online and show them that people were trying to make that argument.

why? because they had one of the best launches of a video game console in history? Just because Sony had a better launch doesn't mean that microsoft didin't also put up amazing numbers.
My bet is the x1 won't get a price drop until holiday time, right around when halo is released.
