Notice that a Final Fantasy remaster outsells a mainline Zelda

Whatever makes you feel better about Sony lmao

But Isnt FFX on 2 different platforms? so there is that

Edit: Notice LoZ OoT 3D (a remaster) outsold almost every Vita Game LTD in Japan? :P

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - 600,839

What was the need for this jab?

You're constantly posting about that Nintendomination crap you like to repeat so much, but this is too much for you to handel. The user has not even mentioned Sony, which you do.

Now tell me, which of the two do you consider trolling?

Yes, the salt is strong with you i see

Just so i dont have to hear your crying "Yes im trolling". Happy now? hope so lmao

We knew already, but nice of you to admit it. Now reply to me again with lots of lols and lmaos, it let's me think you're not pissed off. Now could we get back to the subject at hand?

I'm suprised people arent saying Zelda is a flop and demeaning the Zelda franchise.

Might it be that at least some have learned? We can only hope.

Anyways Japan to the rescue of the Wii U and Vita. I like to see it. The systems deserve better.

Them Vita sales for this week! Things are looking radiant for this year.
ALBW sold pretty well too, maybe a million seller ? I think that maybe only OOT broke that mark but 3DS is huge now !
Good week overall, WiiU doing well too !

Vita sales are last year (last week sales)

OoT didn't get close to a million, it got 600k (assuming you meant it for 3ds)

ALBW might reach up to 800k if lucky. I dont see it passed 1mil unfortunately

Was referring to the Original 64 one

And yeah i know these are from last year ;) just a good start anyways :D

just noticed that 3DS sales in Japan have actually declined 12% compared to 2012. Yes, despite MH4 and Pokemon.

Last year's explosive year-end bounce was due to Animal Crossing.  MH4 and Pokemon were more front-loaded games.  Animal Crossing is much more leggy.  Iwata said at last quarter's briefing that it was unlikely 3DS would reach 2012's total in Japan, but the fact that a dedicated handheld can sell 5 million in one year in a smartphone-dominated region is incedible.  3DS is second only to DS in annual sales records.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Wii U outsold PS3 in 2013. Unexpected....

Well if it can't outsell a 7 year-old console, then something has to be wrong.

Also, great Vita sales!

3DS Friend Code: 0533 - 6146 - 0418
PSN ID: atylerman5

Puzzle & Dragons hits 1 million sold in 3 weeks... wow...

Then again the f2p mobile version is the biggest game in Japan, so I guess I should not be surprised.

Indeed, and the PS3 was never hot in Japan and still has below 10 million sales lifetime, about 13% of the global sales in what is supposed to be the third biggest market for video games. Beating the 7 year old PS3 in Japan is not an epic achievement.

Good sales all-around.

So, P&DZ reached dev's expectations within only a couple of weeks, wondering if it can crawl to 2m.
Zelda looks ok, let's see if the shortages don't kill the hype prematurely.
Animal Crossing reached 4m!, just ahead of Pokemon. (Retail and Download Cards)
FFX/2 HD is also impressive, especially on PSV (great bump of HW)

WiiU HW is rather good, I hope that January drop isn't as hard as last year. Will they be able to keep a momentum before DK arrives?

VitaTV is just sad.

What a nice sales thread to come home to.  Everybody wins.

FFX/X2 Vita far surpasses what I was expecting (somewhere in the region of 80-90k).  Looks like Square Enix shipped more than I thought and they even managed to sell through all of that.  Very, very pleasing.

And in terms of Vita FW's, it's done very well too (using VGC vs. Famitsu data, but you get the picture):

God Eater 2 - 264,831
Hatsune Miku Project Diva f - 159,688
Persona 4 Golden - 137,128
Final Fantasy X/X2 HD - 134,645 (Plus 22,619 for FFX HD; plus < 10k for FFX2 HD)
Toukiden - 124,274
Soul Sacrifice - 111,962

Wonder if VGC will combine all the SKU's together or not.  They've been doing that with a lot of stuff recently (i.e. Warriors Orochi 3 & 3 Ultimate are combined; Dragon's Dogma & Dark Arisen; Ragnarok Odyssey & Ace).

As you can tell, I'm very pleased with these numbers.  And I'm hopeful this means FF XII HD on Vita sooner rather than later.

Rest of the chart - excellent for Zelda (love the pink guy!); Puzzles and Dragons hitting 1m so fast is really impressive; One Piece has finally started selling to numbers that it should be; Taiko finally moving some stock; Drakengard still alive and Youkai Watch vastly exceeded all expectations I had for it.

Hardware is fun too.  PSV up thanks to the bundle and the release, which is unsurprising, but PS3 & PSP also up is... kinda weird.  All Sony hardware up is not something I can complain about though!

A little surprised to see 3DS drop with Zelda, though, but I guess it was fewer days of sales so that would offset any gain made... still =/
