If it isn't so then why do they need the first game exclusivity of Titanfall? Zampella confirmed that microsoft closed the deal to have the first game be exclusive on Twitter to the Xbone on next gen consoles. It wont last as it never does. Its even worse to do it this gen than last gen because all the third party exclusives dry up because you're both competing rather than one console having a eight million console lead on the other.

If Sony really expanded and slow cooked their first party to perfection as you're saying, why are they still securing exclusive content and timed exclusive games as well? That pendulum swings both ways.

You should know by now Stage will never see MS in the positive light.  Sony never make  mistakes in his eyes.  I believe MS is trying to build up their first party just like Sony and they have hired a lot of veteran talent.  It should be interesting to see how these studios games come together and I hope we see some good stuff from both companies.

Both studios will have good showings, im sure but to boast about studios when they have no history is a wasted argument. Its just a meaningless list. Its not a lie to say that Microsoft has padded out their in-house failures by using outside ventures. Killer Instinct is just that an outside venture and so is Gears of War. Double Helix is making games for Playstation as well. Just goes to show how Microsoft feels about Rare. It doesn't take very much to see Rare will stay a Kinect company for a good long while.

Follow the discussion before joining it. You're not being objective.

Jlmurph was wrong saying microsoft has more new IPs for X1 than Sony for PS4 , i showed it's the opposite. as simple as that.

I did, he never said they were made by MS themselves. You made filters, as simple as that.

EDIT: I'm not saying that MS has more or vice versa btw, I'm just saying you don't know what had in mind with his original post and it was pretty unfair to set up those "rules"

Now, you're wrong, like i said, read from the beginning, he was clearly talking about MS :

He said first " I see MS taking more chances with the X1 while the only new IPs I see for PS4 is The Order and Driveclub "  That's where the discussion about new IP started before i post. So we know perfectly what he  had in mind...

But anyway, first party or not, the result is the same, so he was wrong, end of the story.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Okay... that could be funding. And again I wasn't even picking sides, check your PM.

XboxOne will surpass PS4 before Titanfall comes out, in America ofcourse.

Price is the one thing holding the X1 back in America... if Microsoft drops the price to $399 with a Kinect-less bundle you'll start seeing incredible demand for the system, especially once games like Titanfall and Watchdogs start to drop.

Ha! And people criticise Europe and Japan for making decisions based on brand. Exact same thig on the US.

Huh, what are you talking about?   Who said anything about branding?

But since you brought it up... if NA gamers care so much about branding, then why has the top selling console been from a different manufacturer practically every other generation?

As opposed to Japan and Europe, where it's been nothing but Ninty / Sony for nearly 3 decades now.

So true

Titanfall will be like Haze from the early PS3 days. You will see. I predict a meta lower than 74.

Idk I'm a sony fan and xbox one is killer tech( not trolling that tv shit is killer on xbox one). The reaction i have scene from people who own an xbox 360 is negative. I personally would consider buying an xbox one should i have a spare 500 bucks which I dont( i will get ps4 first). The people I know who own a 360 feel burned by microsofts xbox one's press conference. They were shocked that microsoft would install drm and 24 hr check. We all know microsoft caved but the damage is done! All of these xbox 360 owners want ps4 from my convos with them. There main gripe was the software is still there and can be turned on at any moment. Also that microsoft actually thought this was a good business model and would do this to there customers. Like I said I have never owned an xbox in my life but xbox one talking to a tv and changing a channel with that tech is cool. Is it worth 500 bucks when cable companies are starting to implement similar devices with there cable boxes in the near future. You decide!

DLC vs a full game. Is this where they are equal in your eyes? Sony doesn't have rules against late games, except that people give them the definitive version when it hits the console. Microsoft is the one who has problems with late games to the point where they will keep them from YOU, whom are their die hard fan. If Sony ever were to stoop to Microsofts level and try outspending Microsoft to keep every game for them, you wouldn't have seen any definitive versions on any Xbox console because Microsoft just isn't having that and their policy does not allow it. Bad sports. Its smart though because whoever has the game girl has the proper public perception as the console where said game is available. Its not equal where it counts. Sony can catch aa bullet and throw it back and Microsoft pride wont allow them to be as nimble.

Game.

Japan and Europe's always there. They have always stood for Sony and things would not likely change in that regards. It certainly makes Microsoft completely reliant on more branding in US than Sony needs in order to keep the selling pace closer. As far as how things are faring Sony has it consistent across both US and Europe and that matters the most. Ironically the sales for 360 post holiday has returned to higher numbers than One in Europe. Not looking good.

possibly, the XBO's best chance is the USA so if they can market the game right and flood the TV with adverts for it on XBO then they may well get a boost from it.

the game itself looks awesome, definitely gonna get it on PC (don't have an XBO, but will likely get one eventually)+
