Forums - Nintendo - My (small) thought about Nintendo 9 million sales goal - Possible new Wii U bundle

Do you think we will see this specific bundle?

Yes 35 36.08%

No 62 63.92%

Total:97

Could be the one.. but i do not see Iwata (risk his job) and hold on to the 9 mill. only on that.. There will be more..

(he also says that (and again risk his job) that wii-u would reach wii level in 2014..

I know i can't wait to see first half of 2014.. I think it gonna be Legendary.. and we will diskuss it for many years to come..

A good idea, but it's aimed towards casuals, and those are long gone.

It's more aimed at a low (psychological) price point. But the casuals aren't all gone. I would personally think only 40% may have left at most.

or just bundle it with Mario Kart 8

That would be the premium bundle. You could use it to bundle all the big Nintendo games from 2014 and leave this new basic bundle as it is.

I do believe there would be more to go along with this possible bundle. More games releases would be my guess.

I do agree that the first half of 2014 will show if Nintendo has a good plan for 2014.

MK8 makes or breaks this system, so you are right.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Problem s the Wii Sports model is broken on WIi U also. I don't like the idea of micro transaction of having a pass to play. Should have released it as a full game that was free download and come free preinstalled for new consoles.

I talked to Reggie a few days ago in Washington (undisclosed location) and asked if we will see a new bundle replacing the Nintendo Land bundle for the rest of the year and he said "we're working on something". He was really cool. He was walking his goldern retriever (my cousin lives by his house). I asked if a Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze bundle with an ice blue color scheme and a hard copy of the game would be too much to ask for and he really liked the idea. It would be cool seeing a blue Wii U console and gamepad and even a special edition of DKC Tropical Freeze like the Wind Waker HD collector's edition. Maybe bundle it with a blue and white themed Wii U Pro controller. Damn. Lost my chance to tell him about a DKC TF controller.
But anyways, they're working on something for [possibly] February. So might as well wait and see what he was talking about.

Rather have Table tennis, Frisbee, Canoeing from Resort...
